    Lab # 4 - NMO correction and stacking (Due: 6/5/2015)
    Objective
    The objectives of this lab assignment are to NMO-correct and stack the data.

    Introduction
    In this exercise, we will NMO-correct the data and stack the traces in every CDP to
    produce the stacked section. The stacked section gives an image of the subsurface in T0-
    CDP domain. It is used for later processing and interpretation.

    Exercises
    Observing the specific parameters of your data set:
    1. Follow the steps in tutorial 3.5 of the Manual.
    1. Generate Figure 10 of Manual using CDPs in the center of your dataset
    before and after NMO correction.
    2. Generate Figure 11 for your dataset.
    3. Answer the following questions:
    a. Provide the meaning, value, unit, and justification of the smute parameter.
    b. On what basis do you decide that you have the correct NMO velocities?
