The script demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum content. In
Paper 1, the candidate answered questions at different levels of difficulty,
sometimes performing excellently (such as in Questions1b, 3a, 4a and 4c). In
Paper 2, the candidate provided logical answers to the questions. In Question 2,
the candidate clearly examined the significance of the two events in China’s
modernisation. In Question 7, the candidate clearly explained the ways in which
the selected year marked a turning point in 20th century world history.
