    The script demonstrates sound knowledge of the curriculum content. In Paper 1,
    the candidate answered questions at different levels of difficulty, though the
    performance was weak in some questions (such as Question 2a). In Paper 2, the
    script displayed a general understanding of the questions, with some flaws. In
    Question 1, the analysis of the roles of Hong Kong in the region was superficial.
    In Question 4, the candidate failed to examine the relative importance of the
    institutional weaknesses of the League of Nations and other factors.
