1. This technical permission was issued based on Clause (12)

of Article (7) of Emiri Resolution No. (57) for the year
2021 regarding the appointment of the competencies of
ministries, which stipulates that one of the competencies of
the Ministry of Public Health is to organize issues related to
food safety. And to the letter of the Legal Affairs Department
at the Ministry of Public Health No. AQS/D/22/31 dated
02/20/2022. 2.
2. This permission is not a substitute for the license issued by the
Ministry of Commerce and Industry to practice the activity. y.
3. The content of the undertaking submitted by the Center in
this regard must be adhered to, especially the following: Other General Food Consultations ‫استشارات غذائية عامة أخرى‬ 10
A. Do only the activities specified in the license application form
submitted to the Food Safety and Environmental Health
Division (FSD) in this regard.
B. Inform FSD about any modification of activities, whether by
deletion or addition.
C. Inform FSD about any change in the company’s address,
contact numbers, or any other relevant information.
D. Submit an annual report to the FSD on activities and services
provided
E. Cooperation with the FSD when auditing the center
F. Follow any direction issued from FSD regarding organizing
this activity in the State of Qatar
4. Ministry has the right to cancel permission or not to extend it
on the relevant controls.

1. This technical permission was issued based on Clause (12) of Article (7) of
Emiri Resolution No. (57) for the year 2021 regarding the appointment of the
competencies of ministries, which stipulates that one of the competencies of
the Ministry of Public Health is to organize issues related to food safety. And
to the letter of the Legal Affairs Department at the Ministry of Public Health
No. AQS/D/22/31 dated 02/20/2022. 2.
2. The content of the undertaking submitted by the company in this regard
must be adhered to, especially the following:
A. Verify that the food establishments in which food was manufactured,
packaged, or handled meet the requirements set out in the guide and related
health attestations.
B. Verify that primary production facilities comply with food safety
requirements, such as the use of veterinary medicines and pesticides.
C. Verify food compliance with Qatari Technical Regulations and Standard’s
requirements.
D. Commitment to inspection and analysis through entities and individuals have
quality certificates, especially ISO 17025 and ISO 17020 as clarified in the
Guide.
E. Bearing the technical, legal, and professional responsibility for issuing
Conformity Certificates and verifying the accuracy and validity of all its
contents.
F. Commitment to the values of integrity and credibility in providing relevant
services.
G. Provide Ministry of Public Health with any documents or reports related to
permission as a third party upon request and without delay.
H. Response for any direction issued by the Food Safety and Environmental
Health Department related to the regulation of this activity in Qatar
I. Report any incompliance of food and the reasons for that.
3. Ministry has the right to cancel permission or not to extend it on the relevant
controls.
