    NARRATIVE REPORT
    School-Based National Deworming Day
    October 21, 2022

    In coordination with the Department of Education (DOH), the Local Government


    Unit (LGU) and the Department of Education (DepEd) conducting a Deworming to the Filipino
    children twice a year. This program implements Mass Administration for Soil-Transmitted
    Helminthiasis in the months of July and January.

    The Duran Elementary School, as a public elementary school supporting this


    program. But because of pandemic, this school year 2022 -2023, we conducted the School-Based
    Deworming Day last October 21, 2022.

    Before the School - Based Deworming Day we requested a deworming tablet


    from the RHU-Balatan through Mr. Daryl A. Figura, a registered nurse came from the LGU
    Balatan assigned nurse in barangay Duran. The class adviser makes sure that the pupils have a
    notification letter signed by their parents and guardians.

    The School – based Deworming day was successfully done at Duran Elementary School
    with the supports of the parents.
