GLOBAL HANDWASHING DAY 2021

“Malinis na kamay para sa Kinabukasan ng Bayan”

“Staying Healthy and Strong is important. To shield us from germs and viruses, proper hygiene
and handwashing is a must.” – Dione Alexi e V. Malong, Grade 12 – ICT student.

As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads across the globe, millions of people are
heeding the advice of health experts to wash their hands. A simple tool to
promote public health, hand washing is one of the most effective ways to prevent
transmission of diseases — not just the coronavirus (COVID-19), but also
diarrhea, cholera, and typhoid.

Washing hands with hand sanitizers is now the common practice among
students, parents, and teachers. The hand washing campaigns, which target
audiences at home and in schools, promote improved health and hygiene
practices, such as hand washing.

Hand washing Facilities have been erected in different locations of the school to
ensure everyone has access to it.
