    WINS ORIENTATION MINUTES OF MEETING
    DATE: September 8,2021

    On September 8,2021, Kindergarten Sofia & Snow White conducted an orientation to parents about

    Wash In Schools (WINS) program. The orientation started at 8am. It started with a prayer, singing of the

    community song and checking of attendance. The first agendum was the importance of WINs program in

    schools and its objectives. Health education, capacity building, sanitation and water access of the school

    were discussed. The parents were also informed about their roles and responsibilities in the said program.

    It is their responsibility to guide their children at home to be an agent of good health and cleanliness. The

    body approved all the suggestions given by the adviser as well as the other parents’ suggestions. The

    orientation ended at 9:30am.

    BRIGADA KONTRA DENGUE NARRATIVE REPORT
    The first step to prevent dengue is within our homes. In line with this, learners of Pani-an Ipil

    Elementary School doing modular learning participated in DepEd’s Brigada Kontra Dengue for SY 2020-

    2021. The goal of the said program is that despite the absence of face-to-face classes, the learners at

    home should still be educated about dengue and should maintain and practice cleanliness to avoid the

    virus brought by mosquitoes. The teachers sent soft copy and pictures about what is dengue, how to

    prevent and avoid it as well as pictures of proper wastes disposal through messenger. In return, the

    performance task of the learners is to submit photos of themselves cleaning at home together with their

    parents and also photos that show proper disposal of waste. Generally, the activity was a success since

    almost 100% of the learners performed the activity.
