3nd QUARTER NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL

NARRATIVE REPORT

Jawod Elementary School held its 3rd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill today
September 16, 2021 at home with the observance of Health Protocol. The said drill was mandated by the
Department of Education pursuant to the NDRRMC Memorandum No.97 s. 2021 (Conduct of the Quarterly
NSED CY 2021)

Prior to the event, I conducted a plan together with our School Head and SPG Officers led by
Danica Servano on how we are going to prepare for the drill following the health protocol. Since, the Province
of Iloilo is still in MECQ, I share the link of the National Pressing of Button by the Office of the Civil Defense to
colleagues and to my pupils where they can watch through Facebook Live. There was an orientation with the
learners who I can reach out through messenger and text regarding to the Quarter NSED. orientation I
discussed to them the different types of earthquakes and what are the do’s and don’t in case there is an
earthquake.

On the day of the drill, everybody was busy preparing their assignments on their respective area and at
home. Before the drill start, we watched the Online Ceremonial Pressing of the Button by Civil of Defense-
CBTS through Facebook live. At exactly 9:00 AM our Teacher In-Charge Mr. Ramel S. Sibonga rang the
buzzer of our school as a sign of the drill. Learners and teachers at home do their duck, cover and hold while
the teachers at their respective rooms.

. The said drill was successfully done through the help and cooperation of the teachers, learners with
the guidance of their parents.

The overall rating was very satisfactory…
