NARRATIVE REPORT
SCHOOL-BASED FEEDING PROGRAM
SY 2021-2022

In June 2018, President Duterte signed into law the R.A. No.11307 or the “Masustansyang
Pagkain para sa Batang Pilipino Act” Which establishes a national feeding program for
undernourished children in public day care centers, kindergarten and elementary school. It also
states that the government shall provide supplemental feeding program for Day care children,
School based feeding Program for Public School children from kinder to grade 6, and other programs
intended for Children’s nutrition.

In unity with this law, Balisa Elementary School Established School Based Feeding Program. But at
this time of pandemic there will be changes since learning is Home-based. The Malacañang said the
changes instead of preparing hot meals for the students, nutritious food products will be delivered
to household or picked up by parents from school.

In pursuit of providing assistance to pupils amidst the pandemic, the Balisa elementary school
SBFP served learner’s beneficiaries for SY.2021-2022. This Program was headed by the School Based
Feeding Program Coordinator, Mrs. Emmalyn F. De Vera together with the Nutrition coordinator.

For data bases, the Nutrition coordinator, Emmalyn F. De Vera, identify pupils who were
classified as undernourished children we give MILK for 16 days. The identified children listed as
recipients of the SBFP. The learners will receive milky buns, milk and nutritious food from Division
Office. Other who helped to gain the success of this program were the enthusiastic parents and
teachers given their best preparing The SBFP area and managing the status of every learner.

Health care practices such as wearing facemask, putting hand sanitizer after receiving the goods.
