WHY IS LOGISCOOL THE BEST CHOICE?

WE OFFER LIFE-LONG BENEFITS

Programming is one of the most important knowledge we can acquire today. It strengthens skills that are
useful in all areas of life: it develops creativity, critical and algorithmic thinking, as well as problem-solving
skills. Children who translate their own stories and personal experiences into code, are developing their
self-expression and self-confidence as well.

WE TEACH THE KNOWLEDGE FOR THE FUTURE

As adults most of today’s students will have jobs that we cannot even imagine today. Programming and other
skills acquired with it, will help children face the challenges of the future openly and successfully, wherever
life takes them.

WE BELIEVE IN FUN-BASED EDUCATION

With our fun-based methods and years of educational experience, we help children learn how to program
easily and playfully in our interactive lessons. Our self-developed educational platform “grows” with our
students, providing the opportunity for optimal growth and ensuring a fun learning process.

WE ARE ALL ABOUT PROJECTS

Our goal is for our students to leave every Logiscool lesson with the joy of creating something new they can
be proud of. Exciting projects break down the curriculum into easy-to-reach, logical units, providing our
students with continued motivation and age-specific challenges.
In our small group classes, we also allow students to practice communication and collaboration together
with independent work, as well as direct contact to the trainer and their fellow students.

WE HAVE AN UNBEATABLE CURRICULUM AND WE USE THE BEST TOOLS FOR TEACHING
Our self-developed, world-class educational platform has been designed to make it easy and fun for kids
to learn to code. Students first build programs using digital blocks and then, thanks to our unique solution,
seamlessly switch to a written programming language – all at their own pace, since they can freely switch
between the two views.

OUR INSTRUCTORS ARE DEDICATED AND AWESOME

In our schools, students always meet young, well-educated
trainers. There are programmers, mathematicians, and
physicists among them, they are all close to the digital world
and can easily find the common voice with children. Through
our careful selection process, training, and ongoing support, we
can ensure our trainers know exactly how to teach and motivate
students to do their best.
WE PROVIDE AN INSPIRING, SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT
At Logiscool, we believe that the direct teacher-student relationship, the community experience, and the
many practice-oriented tasks all contribute to the rapid development of our students. Our schools are set
up in a modern, inspiring office environment where parents are always welcome to be part of the success
of their children.
Beyond the physical environment, we also help our students to express their creativity in the digital world
at MyLogiscool, which has a vibrant international community, kids can entertain themselves with fun
quizzes and share their coolest projects with others.
Programming transforms passive computer users into active digital creators. With over 800 hours of creative,
professionally-crafted curriculum that is continuously evolving based on constant feedbacks, we make
sure to turn the kids natural curiosity into a useful and effective learning process.

THERE’S MORE BEYOND CODING

We believe that the key to success in the digital world (and beyond) is the continuous development and
openness to innovation. Therefore, at Logiscool, students not only learn to program, but also try out many
other areas (robotics, multimedia courses, business skills, game design, Minecraft, video editing etc.).
The various courses and camps can be completed sequentially or in a complementary way keeping the
learning process tailor-made to the children’s always-changing fields of interest. We are also keeping our
eyes on what’s new in the tech world and developing more and more exciting new courses and camps
every year. With the diversity of our offerings, we ensure that everyone finds a program to their interest
at Logiscool.
WHAT SKILLS ARE IMPROVED
WHEN KIDS LEARN PROGR AMMING?
Within a few years, programming knowledge will become as important as learning in a foreign language.
During our courses, we would like to provide everything that is needed to acquire the knowledge of the
future. But what other things can be influenced positively if children learn to code at Logiscool?

ALGORITHMIC THINKING
During programming, we solve various that which often
contain repetition and different conditions. The identification,
as well as the finding and implementation of appropriate
solutions to these patterns can lead to developing a new form
of thinking. Algorithmic thinking is a problem-solving skill that
is not only useful for programming, but can also be helpful in
solving real-life, everyday problems.

PROBLEM-SOLVING AND TOLER ANCE OF FAILURE

It is a basic thesis that there is no code without a bug,
therefore one who learns to code is going to make mistakes,
lots of mistakes. During the courses, we highly emphasize
for the kids that making mistakes should not be identified as
a personal failure, but it should rather be considered as an
opportunity to learn from it. Programming and, in general,
being creative is only possible if one is not afraid of making
mistakes, dares to try to walk new paths and does not give
up whenever facing difficulties.

SELF-CONFIDENCE AND MOTIVATION

Every week, together with our trainers, we work on that all our students leave with positive feelings of
achievement. We experience during the courses that the self-confidence and motivation of the kids are
growing steadily from being able to solve more and more complex problems and from the fact that they
acquire skills that their peers, and very often even adults do not possess.

MATHEMATIC AND COMPLEX THINKING

It is not a secret that during programming we often use the help of mathematics. However, it does not
mean that programming suits only those who are very good at maths. Programming helps understand
abstract mathematical concepts, through real and graphic visual examples. During programming, the
continuous application and practice of mathematics knowledge acquired can also have positive influence
on school grades.
PERSEV ER ANCE AND CONCENTR ATION
Kids attending the courses of Logiscool are mainly working on creating games, which process requires
continuous concentration and attention. The seemingly simple programs they create contain hundreds
of instructions and several hours of work. As kids learn to make more elaborate games, they also spend
more time to find bugs and fix complex problems, which further develops their perseverance and
concentration skills.

PRECISION
In the process of making a computer game, kids must give precise and unequivocal commands to the
computer, in the appropriate order. In the written program languages, one missing comma or misspelled
command can lead to the computer not understanding what we want from it and our program not working.

CR EATIV ITY
Coding is fundamentally a creative activity, as the same problem can be solved in many ways. They are
good, better and even better solutions. That is why we encourage the kids to tr y new solutions, dare
to find new paths. In our education platform, creativity is also induced by the hundreds of available
characters and backgrounds, which can help the kids make their own games even more unique.

ANALY TICAL THINKING

In general we can say that the bigger the task/problem is, the harder, to convince ourselves to start
working on the solution. Besides programming, at Logiscool students also learn how they should break
down complex problems into smaller, more easily analyzable and solvable subtasks.

PL ANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION

A programmer does not only ‘work’ whenever sitting in front of the computer and writing codes. For
solving the increasingly complex problems, the search and planning of possible answers is continuous,
and all those possibilities can be implemented and tested until the correct solution is found.

SELF-ASSUR ANCE AND PR ESENTATION SKILLS

In today’s world, it is not enough to be able to create
something good; you also need to be able to present it. In
the project lessons of our courses, kids present their most
precious works of the semester not only to each other,
but also to the audience consisting of the parents. The
acknowledging applause of the adults and the proud glimpse
of their parents is going to accompany them throughout
their life and becomes a major benefit in similar situations
(overcoming stage fright).
