A milling machine motor must have full automatic forward and reverse running controlled by limit switches. The
specifications for the control circuit are given below.

i) One stop button must stop the motor when running in either direction.
ii) Overload and low voltage protection is to be given to the motor.
iii) Limit switches give forward and reverse running by plugging.
iv) Electrical interlocks prevent simultaneous energizing both forward and reverse running circuits.

Selective forward and reverse starting must be provided for starting between limit switch position.
