Course Title Mathematics for Grade 7 Learners
Course Credit (hrs./wk & hrs./sem) 5 hours/week
The course is an extensive lecture and activities on sets, measurements, fundamental operations, geometry, and algebra. The topics are distributed
in each grading period. For the first grading period it covers sets, Venn diagram and introduction the set of real numbers. For the second grading it
Course Description
covers the set of real numbers involving the fundamental operations and other concepts in Arithmetic while geometry and algebra will be covered
in the third and fourth grading respectively.

After completing this course, the students are able to:

1. Demonstrate competency of one discipline in Mathematics in terms of its informational content and terminology.
2. Operate on sets in various ways and deal on problem solving using the Venn diagram.
Course Objectives 3. Perform the fundamental operations in Mathematics on various numbers such as in integers, fractions and decimals
4. Apply the concepts of fundamental operations in geometry.
5. Appreciate the use of the fundamental operations in solving problems in Algebra.
6. Value the presence of Mathematics in the real world through many aspects like physically and physiologically.
