The chart illustrates the results of a survey about people’s coffee and tea buying and drinking habits

in five
Australian cities.
Overall, fresh coffee purchases in the last 4 weeks were lower than instant coffee buys or coffee shop visits in all
cities. Interestingly, the rate of people bought instant coffee in all cities was higher than the rate of people bought
fresh coffee.
In Sydney, the rate of people bought fresh coffee was around 43%, 3% lower than instant coffee and 18% smaller
than coffee shop visits. Melbourne had the highest coffee shop visit rate, about 63%, 15% higher than instant
coffee bought and 21% larger than fresh coffee bought. Brisbane had the lowest fresh coffee rate, about 34%, 19%
less than instant coffee and 22% smaller than coffee shop visits.
Adelaide was the only city where coffee shop visits were lower than instant coffee bought, with rates of 49% and
50% respectively, while fresh coffee purchases were at 35.5%. In Hobart, the rates were 38% for fresh coffee
bought, 54% for instant coffee bought, and 62% for coffee shop visits.
The graph illustrates the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean Island between 2010 and 2017.
Overall, number of tourists staying on cruise ship and the number of tourists staying on the island both
fluctuations. Interestingly, the total number of tourists visiting the Caribbean Island consistently grew.
In 2010, the total number of tourists visiting a Caribbean Island was 1 million and the number of people selected
staying on cruise ships was 0.25 million. The number of visitors staying on the cruise ship increased from 0.25
million to 0.5 million within one year. However, the number of tourists staying on cruise ship decreased to 0.25
million in 2012, then recovered in 2013, peaked in 2017 with 2 million people.
On the island, the number of tourists stayed unchanged at 0.75 million people from 2010 to 2011. Afterward, the
number of tourists staying on the island reached 1.25 million in 2012, peaked in 2013 with 1.5 million people, and
stayed unchanged for the next 2 years. However, the number of tourists decreased to 1.25 million people in 2016
and recovered in 2017 with 1.5 million people.
The chart illustrates what Anthropology graduates from one university did after finishing their undergraduate
degree course. The table shows the salaries of the anthropologists in work after five years.
Overall, after Anthropology graduates, students had larger full-time jobs than students from other professions.
Interestingly, the average salary of students in Anthropology was lower when they worked at private companies
compared to government and freelance consultancy areas.
When consider the destinations of Anthropology graduates, the percentage of students securing full-time
employment reached 52%, which was higher by 37% compared to the part-time work rate, which only reached
15%. The percent of students full-time postgrad study and the not known of students with an undetermined status
were both 8%. The unemployment rate for students was quite high, at 12%. The rate of students in full-time work
was the lowest, at only 5%.
After 5 years of work, private companies achieved a salary of 10%, which was 5% higher than the government and
freelance consult sectors in the salary range of $25,000 to $49,999. At the salary range of $50,000 to $79,999,
private companies achieved rate of 35%, while the government and freelance consult sectors achieved rate of
15%. However, at the salary range of $79,999 to $99,999, private companies had lower rates compared to the
government and freelance consult, achieva rates of 25%, 30%, and 40% respectively. At the salary range of
$100,000 and above, the government sector attained the highest rate at 50%, while freelance consult reached 40%,
and private companies achieved 30%.
