In terms of going to a cafe, it was most prominent in Melbourne and Hobart, at around 64% and 63% respectively. Meanwhile, Sydney was comparably high at more than 60%, followed by Brisbane at approximately 55%, and finally Adelaide at less than 50%. Adelaide was the only city among five cities in which the proportion of citizens buying instant coffee is higher than going to a café, nearly 50%. As can be observed from the chart, the figure for buying fresh coffee was the lowest. The percentage of residents purchasing fresh coffee in Sydney and Melbourne made up around 44% and 43% respectively.
