The given bar chart indicates the percentage of residents' coffee and tea

purchasing and consumption in last 4 weeks in five different Australian cities,

namely Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Hobart.
Overall, except for Adelaide, the percentage of people who went to a café for
coffee or tea last month is the highest among the four cities, whereas buying
fresh coffee at the same time in five cities made up the lowest proportion of the
chart.
In terms of going to a cafe, it was most prominent in Melbourne and Hobart, at
around 64% and 63% respectively. Meanwhile, Sydney was comparably high at
more than 60%, followed by Brisbane at approximately 55%, and finally
Adelaide at less than 50%. Adelaide was the only city among five cities in
which the proportion of citizens buying instant coffee is higher than going to a
café, nearly 50%.
As can be observed from the chart, the figure for buying fresh coffee was the
lowest. The percentage of residents purchasing fresh coffee in Sydney and
Melbourne made up around 44% and 43% respectively. As can be seen,
Brisbane and Adelaide had a near resemblance of approximately 34%, whilst
Hobart had a higher margin, at roughly 38%.
