 The Lovely Bones is a 2002 novel by American writer Alice

Sebold. It is the story of a teenage girl who, after being
raped and murdered, watches from her personal Heaven as
her family and friends struggle to move on with their lives
while she comes to terms with her own death.

 Set in the quaint English village of St. Mary Mead, the story
unfolds with the murder of Colonel Protheroe, a disliked
 and meddlesome resident. As suspicion falls on various
characters, including the vicar himself, the plot twists and
turns with hidden secrets and unexpected revelations.
Christie's writing is masterful, creating an atmosphere of
suspense and intrigue that keeps readers guessing until the
very end. The characters are well-drawn, and Miss Marple's
astute observations and sharp wit add depth to the
narrative.

 Troy is one of the most famous ancient cities, thanks to the poem of
