 Prayers
శుకాలంబర్ధర్ం విషత ణ ం
శశివర్ణ ం చత్తర్పుజం
పరసననవదనం ధ్ యయేత్
సర్వ విఘ్ననపశాంత్యే.
Suklambaradharam - one who wears a white robes
vishnum - all pervading
Sasivarnam - one who has a brilliant complexion (like the full moon)
chaturbhujam - one who has four hands
prasannavadanam - one who has an ever smiling, bright face
dhyayet - I meditate upon
Sarvavighnopashantaye - for the removal of all obstacles

సర్సవతి నమసుుభయం
వర్దే కామర్ూపిణి
విద యర్ంభం కరిష్ాయమి
సిది ర్
ధ బవత్తమే సద

Sarasvati, salutations to you, the giver of boons, the one who fulfills desires. I shall
begin my studies. May there always be accomplishment for me.

గుర్పర్ బరహమ The guru is Brahma (The creator),

గుర్పర్ విషత ణ ః The guru is Vishnu (The preserver),
గుర్పర్ దేవో మహేశవర్ః The guru is Maheswara (The dissolver),
గుర్పస్ాాక్షాత్ పర్బరహమ The guru is the Absolute,
త్స్మమ శ్రీ గుర్పవేనమః I bow before you.

 Secondary Consonants
Similar to the Vowel, the Consonants also have secondary
forms. These forms are used when combined with another
Consonant. Following rules are used while combined two
Consonants.

1.The Consonant sound which comes first while pronouncing,

is written first. (adding vowel is ignored for now).

2.The Consonant sound which follows the primary consonant

sound is written in the secondary consonant form.

Secondary Consonant forms follow four different patterns

based on the their form, with respect to primary form.

Pattern 1: Secondary forms do not resemble the primary

form.
Ex:

Pattern 2: Secondary forms is same as primary form but

has no tick mark (talakaTTu).
Ex:

Pattern 3: The hook to right of the letter is slightly

extended to make secondary form (without tick mark)
Ex:

Pattern 4: Secondary and primary forms are identical

Ex:
