- As basic lubricants on shafts and bearings of high precision mechanisms.

- For machining metals through stock removal or for cold forming (stamping).

(4) Procedure

(a) Cleaning of parts

- Degrease the parts as per W.C. 20-04-01-102.

- Ensure solvent has completely evaporated before applying MOLYKOTE

Y
product.

AR
(b) Application of molykote compound

- For SPRAY 321R, spray while holding the can at 15-20 cm from parts. Apply

BR
a thin film as evenly as possible.
After 10 mn of curing, a slight burnishing is recommended.
- For the Molykote G Rapid Plus Spray

LI
1. Clean the sliding or contact surfaces, then apply the spray
2. Avoid excess product

ER
3. Do not mix with greases or oils.

- Once treated, actuate the components without load for one or two minutes.

PT
Check for any lubricant film breakdown ; touch up if required.
- Renew the first application, while checking for film breakdown.
O
NOTE
C
O

The thickness of SPRAY 321R film should be 10

microns approximately.
