EULOGY FOR THE LATE BEN BUYELA

The late Ben Buyela was born on 22/02/1957 being the first son of late Ibrahim Simiyu

omuchemai and late Joyce makokha omusaba in lugari/wamangoli village malaha sub location

misikhu location webuye west sub county in bungoma county

EDUCATION

The late his education in the year 1965 at matulo F.Y.M pr school and sat for his C.P.E in 1972

at chebosi pr school where he passed and proceeded to the secondary school at Bokoli

secondaryin the year 1973 to 1976 and managed to get a 2 nd division then proceeded to high

school in kangundo high for form 5 and form 6 till 1978.

CIRCUMCISION

The late was circumcised in 1972 bein of the age set of bachuma basimikha.

EMPLOYMENT

Ben started off his job hustle in the year 1979 at chebosi secondary as board teacher till june

1980. Then he join nzoia sugar in1981 to 1983. In 1984 mr Ben went to Mombasa to pursue a

course in architecture then in 1985 he started to teach in kitayi primary and later baraki, Luanda,

chebukaka girls and later retired at sichei primary in 2017.

MARRIAGE
Ben married his first wife Jane Nafula omubuya omusikulu on 12/05/1980 and they were blessed

with nine children; late francious , joan nanjala, caleb mkhwana, Joshua mulongo, zedrick khisa,

abigael nelima, Abraham Simiyu, brendah naliaka and joskykakai.

Together they have 17 grandchildren namely;

aston,Rachel,rodah,godfrey,bravin,Ronald,Justin,angela,joy,patience,godfrey,joy,wright,valarie,c

ynthia,Yvonne and glein.

The lare then married his second wife in the year 1993 Sarah Nanjala omubwoba and they were

blessed with 5 children namely; shalet nekoye, francis wafula, George bush, timothy masinde

and cemstea naliaka.

Together also got 2 grandchildren namely; Sandra and Emmanuel.

In general the lat Ben has left 13 children and 19 grandchildren.

SICKNESS

The late was born a healthy child until 1989 when he started feeling pain on his right hand where

he was taken to webuye hospital and kimilili hospital where he ws referred to Alupe hospital and

was dragonized of borne ostetima ostuma where he continued to be treated then suddenly lost his

finger and the disease proceeded to affect his leg where he was taken to kakamega hospital trying

to prevent the spread until 2017 where the situation worsened and was taken to medhill hospital

where it was discovered that he was suffering from hypertension and diabetes and had kidney

failure and was to conduct dialysis twice a week and he adhered to doctor instruction until late

2022. On 31/7/2023 Ben was again taken with a surprise by the storm of his illness where he was

rushed to chwele sub county hospital and the situation was worse where he was referred to

bungoma hospital where he had his last breath at 11.30 am on 1st of august,2023.
