Candidate A: I like baking at home. I enjoy trying out new recipes and offer my family to eat. I baked a cake last
week, it was delicious. I love to bake cookies and cake for special occasions.

Examiner: Here are some pictures that show different TV Programmes. (If it is mention programme, then you talk
about the programme- don’t change it to drama )

A: I like to watch music programmmes because I


enjoy watching artist performing songs. It lifts up
my mood. How about you?

B: I agree with you. I also love to watch music


programmes because I am into music. I can learn
about how to sing different type of songs.

B: I like to watch sports programme because it is


fun and thrilling to look at the final scores of the
match. I also can learn about the sports skills.
Do you like watching sports programme?

A: I dislike to watch sports programme because it is


boring. I don’t have the patience to watch their
scores. I don’t enjoy sports.

A: I prefer to watch news programme because I can


stay up to date with the current news happening
around the world. How about you?

B: I don’t enjoy watching news programme


because its dull and scary to watch the accidents
that is happening around me. It is mundane(boring).

A: I enjoy watching travel programmes because I


can learn about the cultures and lifestyle in
different places. I can imagine myself travelling to
many places.

B: I dislike watching travel programmes because I


feel like it’s a waste to watch when I don’t have the
money to travel. I am more interested to travel at
the place instead of watching at home.
A; I love to watch documentary programme
because I learn about how the animals survives in
their habitat. It is fascinating.

B: I don’t like to watch documentary because it is


slow-paced. I don’t have any interest towards
animals so I will be distracted when I watch
documentary.

Candidate A: Yes, I think documentary programmes are interesting because it is about
animals. I find it fascinating to understand about how animals survives in their habitat. For
an example, I can learn about how tigers attack its enemy.

Examiner: B, Do you think sports programmes are exciting?


Candidate B: Yes, I think sports programme are exciting because it is very intense to watch
the match between two teams. For an example, when Lee Chong Wei play against Lin Dan,
I can’t take my eyes off. I need to watch until the end to know their scores.

Phase 2- Part 2

Examiner: Do you think teenagers spend too much time watch TV?
Candidate A and B: Yes, I think teenagers spend too much time watching TV. They spend
more than 5 hours watching Tv.They like to watch drama or programmes that they are
interested. They get addicted and watch for hours just to finish a whole series. Spending too
much time affects their health.

Examiner: Do you prefer watching film in a cinema or on TV?


Candidate A and B: I prefer watching film at home because I can wear comfortable clothes
and lie on the sofa to watch. I can move anywhere without thinking about anyone. It is free
of charge and fun to watch with family.
