Rajma Tikki
● 1 cup cooked rajma.
● 3 tablespoon onion, finely chopped.
● 2 tablespoons capsicum, finely chopped
● 2 tablespoons carrot - grated
● 2 tablespoons beetroot - grated
● 2 tablespoons of green coriander leaves, finely chopped
● 1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
Ingredients
● 2 tablespoon besan ( chickpea flour )
● 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder (jeera powder)
● 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
● 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
● 1 pinch of turmeric powder
● Salt to taste
● ghee for shallow frying
● Put the cooked rajmas in a blender. Pulse to a coarse mixture. You can even
mash them with a fork.
● Put the rajma mixture into a bowl.
● Add onions, capsicum, carrot, beetroot, green coriander leaves, green
chillies, besan, cumin powder, black pepper, red chilli podwer, turmeric
powder and salt.
Method
● Mix until well combined.
● With oiled hands, shape the mixture into round tikkis.
● Now heat a pan. Drizzle oil so that it covers the button of the pan.
● Place the tikkis on the pan and cook on low heat.
● When the bottom turns golden brow, Flip and cook till the other side also
turns golden brown.
