Job Title: MBA – Business Analyst Intern

Dolat capital is a technology driven, multi strategy quantitative trading firm, trading in
financial markets. Our team constantly works towards refinement and innovation, and is
dedicated to producing superior returns by using mathematical and statistical methods.

We are seeking an enthusiastic accountant to assist our accounts team. The ideal applicant
will assist with creating financial statements and reports, conducting cycle audits, and
reconciling bank accounts. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills
and possess a strong business acumen.

Job Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to
gather, analyse, and document business requirements. You will translate these
requirements into functional specifications that guide the development of solutions,
systems, or processes to meet business objectives. Your role will involve collaborating with
cross-functional teams, conducting research, and using data-driven insights to make
recommendations that drive efficiency and growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand the intricacies of


structured trades and trading strategies within the APAC markets.
 Research and analyze APAC (Asia’s pacific continents) market trends,
regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape to guide decision-
making.
 Develop a comprehensive business plan for setting up trading operations in
APAC, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and growth
projections.
 Establish and nurture relationships with exchanges, prime brokers, regulatory
bodies, and other market participants to facilitate smooth operations and
compliance.
 Lead the design and documentation of detailed business requirements for
trading systems, risk management tools, and operational processes.
 Analyze and optimize trading workflows, identifying opportunities for
automation and efficiency improvements.
 Create and present regular reports to executive leadership, detailing
progress, challenges, and recommendations for optimizing trading
operations.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, technology
experts, compliance officers, and legal advisors, to ensure all aspects of
trading operations are well-integrated.
 Monitor and analyze trade performance, ensuring adherence to risk
management guidelines and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
 Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and
regulatory changes that impact trading operations in APAC.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business & Economics, Marketing, Strategy or


Management Consultant, or a related field (Master's degree or CFA
designation a plus).
 Extensive experience in trading operations, preferably in the APAC markets,
with a focus on structured trades.
 In-depth knowledge of APAC financial markets, trading regulations, and
market infrastructure.
 Proven track record of establishing and maintaining relationships with
exchanges, prime brokers, and other relevant partners.
 Strong analytical skills to evaluate trading strategies, risk profiles, and value
propositions.
 Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of articulating
complex trading concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 Experience in developing business plans, conducting market research, and
performing cost-benefit analyses.
