CIRCUITS ANALYSIS

MAIN CIRCUITS

1 Power circuit
2 Auxiliary circuit

3
1
POWER CIRCUIT
ANALYSIS

A) Main switch
B) Main transformer
C) Rectifier
D) Inductor

4
A) MAIN SWITCH (IL)

Check the input ( R-S-T) and

the output (U-V-W) voltage.
The output voltage must be the
same at that the input one.

5
B) MAIN TRANSFORMER (TP)

Secondary star
connected.
Output unload voltage:
(U2 x 0,742 = V ac)

Syncromism output voltage R1-R2-R3: 22 V ac

Ib: start of the winding

BA - Auxiliary output
voltage: 48 V ac
6
C) RECTIFIER (RT)

• SCR disk

• Between G and K: 10÷35 ohm

• Replace the complete rectifier if

there’re some SCR damaged
P.S.: never replaced the main “SE”
PCB if the SCR’s haven’t been
checked, because if they are
damaged the PCB will be ruined.
7
D) INDUCTOR (L)

No electrical measurement

B) MAIN PCB (SE)

Open circuit voltage adjustment

• ECHO 4000 = 16.5 ÷ 44 V dc ±0.1 V

• ECHO 5000 = 17.5 ÷ 51 V dc ±0.1 V
• ECHO 6000 = 17.5 ÷ 58 V dc ±0.1 V

12
B) MAIN PCB (SE)

X1 connector
•1-4 to R1 auxiliary winding
•2-5 to R2 auxiliary winding
•3-6 to R2 auxiliary winding

X2 connector
•1-2 to SCR 1 (10÷35 ohm)
•3-4 to SCR 5 (10÷35 ohm)
•5-6 to SCR 3 (10÷35 ohm)
•7-8 to SCR 6 (10÷35 ohm)
• 9 - 10 to SCR 2 (10÷35 ohm)
• 11 - 12 to SCR 4 (10÷35 ohm)
P.S.: even number are connected to
SCR’s gate
13
B) MAIN PCB (SE)

X3 connector
• 1 to “SF” PCB
• 2 to pole C of 14 poles CCI connector
(48V)
• 3 to pole 6 of J1 of S-REL PCB
• 4 to pole G of 14 poles CCI connector

1) Vce Q12: 10 Volt 5 ms

2) catodo DZ8: 5 Volt 5 ms

At low angle conduction you

must see two series of the
trigger signal which represent
the SCR conduction with the
other two of the opposite side.
