1. Problem Statement
First phase of Chapter one, problem in this phase being identified and
providing solution for the problem, this implement by collecting data
such as Raw Data, Marketing requirement and how it’s ranked these data
depending on priority that’s belong to the Raw Data and Marketing
requirement for solving the problem.
Raw data it’s about the information being collected by interview and
experience with people or observations, such as something the collector
see it or notice it in real life, by these data the priority and requirement of
the customer become clearer.
6
1.1.3 Marketing Requirements

1.1.5 Ranking of Objective Tree
The objective tree of the entire table (Figure(1)) is being divided into 3
level depend on how much level the table has in Figure(1), All three level
will be ranked using Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP).
AHP of Table(1) High Quality Materials Low Cost Easy to install and Geometric weight
Level 1 use mean
AHP of Table(2) Weather Resistance durability for High Battery Geometric weight
Level 2 (Dust, Water & Shocks Capacity mean
Heat) (Shockproof) (Work both AC/DC)
8
AHP of Table(3) Device Components Easy to Small Size Geometric weight
Level 3 Availability widely Maintenance mean
9
Summary of problem statement
1. Problem defined And solution provided by determine the
Requirements & Raw Data customers.
2. Make objectives tree depending on requirements of customers.
3. Determine the priority of objectives tree depending on Raw data
and ranked it.

Xiaomi Mi Smart Motion Sensor
11
Eufy Security Motion Sensor
it’s a smart motion sensor work with a high range reaches to 30 ft with
wide angle coverage up to 100° degree, it has a future enable it to adjust
the level of motion Sensitivity with alerts work only when human pass
the sensor, because it’s a smart motion sensor it has an app for alerts that
sending a message to your phone the future of alerts work even if you too
far from it, also it has a decent battery life remain for 2 years, but there’s
cons in term of cost, the future of alerts app and portability, in the cost
and future the device need an extra part to achieve the future alert which
cost the customer more money and that make it more expensive, not
compatible with any surface, also it doesn’t have waterproof, heatproof
and shockproof. [8]
12
YoLink Motion Sensor
13
THIRDREALITY Zigbee Motion Sensor
This is a smart wireless sensor compatible with any surface, it’s work by
two AAA battery last for 2 years depend on the use of customer, it has
additional future that make it somehow special, you can link it with lamp
and if someone pass via sensor the lamp will turn on, it has a low cost it
required an extra part but not a specific part you have three gens of this
part with variant value, but the futures does not work without this extra
part, it has a 9 meter range (30 ft) which not the best but it’s do a job and
the angle of the sensor it’s not wide, the waterproof, heatproof and
shockproof does not exist. [5]
14
SENCKIT Smart Motion Sensor
Wireless smart Motion Sensor with wireless this product focusing on how
much security provide in term of detected, it has alarm up to 110db and
can be modified by the app of this sensor in three modes 60db, 85db and
110db it’s work when the sensor detect any motion, it has dual infrared
detection to make it high accurate, it’s support 110° degree detection, the
smart futures of this sensor no need to hub it’s required an app to benefit
from all the futures, it's compatible with Alex, Google and Siri voice
assistant. [6]

1.3.Need and objectives statement
This section describe what our project want, why this project is important
?, why is it different from other products compared with it , this section
must answer all these question in two paragraph need statement and the
objective statement.
16
2.Requirement Specification
In requirement specification phase all the engineering requirements should
be clear and implemented, after that it should be gathered in one document
and that document called requirements specification.
2.1 Constrains
The design decision be limited and affected duo to the environment or
stakeholder, this section responsible to represent the constraints that the
project face it.
17
2.2 Standards
The standards depend on what the community commonly want and what
the things that community agreed on it, this section provide the type of
standers used in this project and what the usability of it.
18
2.2.2 Safety Standard
Safety Standard in design it means how the product test it to avoid dangers
situation from happened, this section present what used in term of safety
standard.
19
2.2.3 Communications Standard
this standard confirms how the system can communication with other
devices and exchange information between them.
ISO/IEC 17568:2013
The purpose of this standard to make sure that the device can transport the
data between the system and other devices, several type of data can be
exchange it between the system and other devices such as image, text and
voices.[10]
Summary of Standards
1 - Definition of Standards
2 - Types of Standards used
3 – Types & Definition of ISO/IEC Standard used
4 – Usability of ISO/IEC

2.3 Engineering Requirement
It’s phase to describe the requirement developed by the engineer, depend
on customers, environment and technical community, also this section
present the link between engineering requirement and Marketing
Requirements and how it’s been converted.

5. High Capacity and Quality Battery for long time work, It’s able to work in Both DC/AC for
more flexibility in terms of portability.
11.System should have touch screen with low latency response to make it more comfortable to use.
13.The system should have alert future to make it more comfortable and secure to us
24
3. Generation & Evaluation
This phase present the choices and possibilities that the project can be
implement with it, and how the choices and possibilities of project become
creativity.
25

5 System Behavior:
In system behavior phase explanation how the system components work in
sequential way with different condition between each other this phase
depend on section 4 (System structure), there’s many technique to
implement this phase but in this project there’s three techniques being used
to accomplish the System Behavior phase.
