1.1 The 10th term of an arithmetic progression is twice the 5th term, and the 20th term is 60.
Calculate the common difference, 𝑑 and hence the sum of the first 15 terms. (6)

1.2 The first two terms of a converging geometric sequence are 12 and 𝑘, respectively. The
sum to infinity of the series is 72. Calculate the value of 𝑘. (4)
