Reason: New location for repair and service.
Description: Repair and service of the SKY497 and SKY899 is being transferred to
Symetrics Industries.
Symetrics Industries, founded in 1962, is headquartered in Melbourne
Florida and is approved under 14 CFR Part 21, Part 145 and EASA Part
145 with Radio, Instrument and Accessory ratings. They are also certified
under ISO 9000:2008 and AS9100:2009 Rev. C. The facilities are ITAR
registered and compliant.
Symetrics Industries will begin servicing units on April 27, 2015. Units
received by L-3 Avionics Systems from April 27 and later will be sent to
Symetrics Industries.
