Reason: To inform customers of the availability of Trilogy Configuration Tool.
Description: The Trilogy Configuration Tool has the following capabilities:
• Configure options such as tape type, barometer color, roll pointer, Mag
installation, keyboard brightness, and altimeter units
• Calibrate panel angle.
• Configure airspeed data using either V MO or V NE mode
• Configure airspeed data using Variable V MO mode
• Calibrate magnetometer mounting angles and wing flex compensation
• Configure SSEC data and choose between SSEC correction algorithms
• Read, write, and manage stored configuration files

information.

Instructions either contacting L-3 Communications Avionics Systems and ordering
Software CD 9230-32003-0001 or by going to the Technical Publications
website at [www.avionicstechpubs.com] and subscribe to one of the Trilogy
installation manuals listed in the References paragraph.
Software installation instructions are provided in Appendix D of the
referenced manuals.
NOTE

Approval: This Service Letter contains no modification information that revises the
approved configuration and therefore does not require government or other
regulatory agency approval.
