Planning Information
ECN: 73864
Reason: Software version 1.8 has been released. This software upgrade:
• Corrects the ARINC 429 output Label 320 to Sign Status Matrix
(SSM) to No Computed Data (NCD) when the Sky497 is
connected to a Stepper Motor as a heading source. (Stepper
motor cannot be used on any moving map, only syncro or digital
heading can be used for this purpose). This software prevents
stepper motor data from being processed as valid heading, Label
320, by setting the SSM of label 320 to NCD to prevent
misleading data to the pilot.
• Changes the maximum number of aircraft intruders displayed on
our WX-1000/SKY497 display from 8 to 10.
