Answer 1

As the team leader at TCS here are a few ways that I’ll suggest my team members
to follow to enhance their confidence on their presentation skills :

By arousing audience interest: in order to capture the attention of our audience

entirely on us we can do the following to do so :

Talk about one common goal: If we discuss about one common topic that interests
our whole audience or adress one common problem, we will immediately get their
attention.

Narrating a story: By narrating a story our audience will be more interested in

listening to us.
By getting good attention from our audience, we feel heard enough which helps in
boosting our confidence.

Previewing our presentation & Practicing it: It is extremely essential for us to

understand our topic , presentation and structure thoroughly. This will ensure us in
understanding our entire topic of discussion correctly and will prevent in us forgetting
things or fumbling.
It will also boost our confidence as when our audience will question us , we will be
able to explain them properly.
We should thoroughly practice and rehearse our presentation as that is what makes
us perfect.

Being in a positive frame of mind & Not worry about being perfect: We should
always focus on our strengths and how well we are prepared with our presentation
and be original and authentic with our speech. We should try to talk as calmly as
possible and try to focus more on connecting with our audience rather than
delivering a perfect speech.

Be comfortable & prepared with an opening line: We should be comfortable and

confident with our body language, outfit and environment and not be scared about it.
The more comfortable we are, the better it is for us to speak.
We should always be prepared with a good opening line to greet our audience and
capture their attention properly.

Maintain eye contact & keep going: we should always maintain eye contact so that
makes you appear sincere, confident and trustworthy and helps us in getting positive
feedback as well. We should always keep going ahead with our presentation.
Tips for effective online presentations:

Sharing preview study materials ahead of time with the audience: This helps in
familiarising them with the topics of discussion and ensures smooth presentation.

Online rehearsals: It’s recommended to practice giving the online presentation once
in the system because of the new techniques and operating systems so that one
gets comfortable using it.

Simple presentations: It is always advised to keep it as simple and to the point as

possible so that no one gets lost.

Keep time in hands: It is important to allow everyone have some time in hand so
that they become familiar in using the new system.

As the sales incharge for ACER , following are the points that i’d keep in mind while
drafting the refund refusal letter :

Specific Purpose : The money cannot be refunded as the product was delivered in
perfect condition and the return policy is of 7 days only.

Negative news : We’re extremely sorry , even though we understand your situation,
refunding after 8 days is not possible for our company’s policy.

Reasoning: The product we delivered was as it was stated and in perfect condition.
Refunds are possible when we deliver a faulty product which was not the case here.

Additional information: Although we regret this situation and we can assist you
with everything possible and any help you want from us.

Respectful close : We hope you understand our situation. We’re here to help you
with any other help that you want from us.

The buffer that I can use to convey this news is UNDERSTANDING. I can
demonstrate that I understand their requirements and problems and will try to help
them in any other way possible.

The 3 types of resumes are:
THE CHRONOLOGICAL RESUME:
It Lists your work history in reverse order, starting with the current or most recent job and
working backwards. It is easy to write. Emphasizes stable work records. Employers like to
see the job titles, level of responsibility and dates of your work history.
It also draws attention to employment gaps. Skills can be difficult to recognize if they are not
listed in your last job.
It is best used to emphasize previous career growth and development in the same career.
Or when the name of a former employer may be significant to a potential employer. It is the
most common approach but might not be right at an early career stage.

THE FUNCTIONAL RESUME:

It focuses on skills and strengths important to employers. It leaves out specific dates, names
and places. It will de-emphasize a spotty work history. It will de-emphasize a spotty work
history. It allows you to highlight specific strengths and transferable skills that may not be
obvious when presented in a purely chronol.
Highlighting transferable skills you have used in volunteering, paid work or course work. Use
this or a combined resume if you're a recent graduate, have limited work experience, are
changing careers or doing freelance work, or don't want to draw attention to your age.
logical order. No detailed work history.
The content may seem to lack depth. Not liked by many employers. This makes them think
you may be trying to hide your age, job gaps, lack of relevant experience, lack of career
progression or underemployment.
It is often called skills resume.

THE COMBINATION RESUME:

It combines the flexibility and power of the other two resume types. Demonstrates a strong
employment record with upward mobility. Show how the skills you've used in the past apply
to the job you're seeking. Emphasizes transferable skills. Work history is often on the second
page and the employer doesn't need to read that far. To showcase your skills developed
throughout your work history rather than the specific positions you've held.
Use when you are changing careers and the names of former employers may not be obvious
to a potential employer.
