    ACTIVITY # 9

    OBJECTIVE: To apply the rule on proper location of core and delta in a given pattern.

    MATERIALS: Books, Pamphlets/Handouts, drawing materials, hand lens, different patterns to


    be given by the instructor.

    PROCEDURES:

    1. With your notes and books as reference or guide and as presented in class, review or
    study the rules given in the proper location of core.

    2. In the given sets of patterns, identify or locate the delta/s and/or core as applicable.

    3. Label the delta as “D” and core as “C”. In cases of whorls, label the right delta as “RD”
    and left delta as “LD”. Use the prescribed format.
