Doka GmbH (hereinafter designated ‘Doka’) makes its automated Dokaflex 1-2-4 Materials Calculator available on its website and in the
app stores.

The app makes the Dokaflex 1-2-4 Materials Calculator available on mobile devices. Provision of the necessary devices, operating systems,
licences and software is the responsibility of the user, as is the security of the data. Every use of this app is at user’s own risk. The
appropriate instructions for assembly and use must be studied carefully prior to set-up of the formwork; consulting the ‘Doka Tools’ app on
its own is not sufficient for this purpose.

By downloading the app or using the Dokaflex 1-2-4 Materials Calculator in any other way, you declare your consent to these terms and
conditions of use. If you use the app for your employer or customer, you declare their consent to the terms and conditions of use and your
authorisation to consent to the terms and conditions of use on their behalf.

1. B2B app: The use of the Dokaflex 1-2-4 Materials Calculator is permitted only for business use by users with sufficient
engineering knowledge and in accord with these terms and conditions of use. Use by consumers or for private purposes of any
kind is prohibited.
2. The load assumptions in accordance with EN 12812 have to be worked though conscientiously before the Dokaflex 1-2-4

3. The formulas for calculation are based on load assumptions in accordance with EN 12812. In accordance with EN 12812, a
service load of 0.75 kN/m² and a variable load of 10 % of a massive concrete floor-slab, totalling at least 0.75 kN/m² but no
more than 1.75 kN/m², is allowed for (assuming a fresh concrete bulk density of 2500 kg/m³). Mid-span deflection has been
limited to l/500. Dokaflex 1-2-4 has a design-base maximum floor-slab thickness of 30 cm.
4. This Dokaflex 1-2-4 Materials Calculator has been created to the best of Doka's knowledge and belief and given thorough
testing before being made available on the website and in the app stores. Nevertheless, a guarantee or warranty of complete
freedom from errors, freedom from interruptions or compatibility with particular software or hardware, etc. cannot be given. In
particular, the results obtained with the Dokaflex 1-2-4 Materials Calculator must be cross-checked with meticulous care. Errors,
if found, must be reported immediately (otherwise all claims resulting from the error are voided). The calculations and results
possible with this app relate exclusively to the use of products of the Doka brand. Under no circumstances, liability for
correctness will be accepted when other-make products are used. Furthermore, the Doka website and the Doka apps on which

6. Doka constantly endeavours to keep the Doka website free of viruses. Nevertheless, Doka cannot guarantee that the site will
always be virus-free. Users are obliged to ensure adequate safety precautions, virus scanners etc. of their own.
7. Doka shall be liable for injury solely within the bounds of mandatory statutory provisions. For any other damage, Doka shall only
be liable in cases of gross negligence and malicious intent. Irrespective of legal grounds, Doka shall not be liable for
consequential damages, financial losses and data loss.
8. Sole responsibility for the results and documents created in use resides with the user. The Dokaflex 1-2-4 Materials Calculator
provides no information relating to the safe deployment of formwork solutions planned with this program. Whenever using the
results and documents created with Dokaflex 1-2-4 Materials Calculator, the Doka user information booklets, operating
instructions and fitting instructions of the relevant formwork system or formwork component, and also all other legally required
technical information for the relevant formwork or scaffolding product from Doka must take into consideration without any
exception.
9. The information contained on the relevant Doka website and/or in the Doka apps, and also the app including the Dokaflex 1-2-4
Materials Calculator, are the intellectual property of Doka and may not be altered, supplemented, sold, rented or otherwise
 commercially exploited, in any manner whatever, without the prior written consent of Doka.
10. Doka reserves the right to shut down or to update at any time the Doka website, the Doka apps and/or the Dokaflex 1-2-4
Materials Calculator. Before each use, the user shall check the availability of updates and immediately install the updates made
available. Further use without installation of the update voids all claims against Doka, unless the user proves a claim to be
justified notwithstanding the update.
11. Provider charges: Provider charges might be incurred when this app is used. In addition, roaming charges might apply abroad.
Deactivate data roaming to avoid incurring increased charges while abroad. This setting can be changed at any time.
12. User feedback: On providing comments, ideas, suggested changes, bug descriptions or other feedback, the user grants Doka a
non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, perpetual, non-revocable, worldwide right of usage and commercial exploitation of
the user feedback.
13. If any provision or provisions of these ‘Terms and conditions of use’ should be or become inoperative, whether in whole or in
part, and if the terms and conditions are found to contain a loophole, this shall have no bearing upon the validity of the
remaining terms and conditions. Any wholly or partially inoperative provisions, or loopholes, are hereby deemed to have been
superseded by an appropriate and effective new provision which – to the extent legally possible – fulfils or most closely
approximates to the originally intended legal and business purpose.
14. The place of performance is Amstetten, Austria. Only Austrian law shall apply, to the express exclusion of IPRG (the Austrian
Private International Law Act) and of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The sole place of
jurisdiction for any and all disputes is agreed to be the registered office of Doka GmbH at A 3300 Amstetten, Austria, or – at
Doka's discretion – any other legally permissible place of jurisdiction.
