PROJECT PROPOSAL

I Project Title 2-DAY NATIONAL LEARNING CAMP RMA TRAINING FOR SDO SAN
JUAN GRADE 2 AND 3 ENGLISH AND MATH TEACHERS
II Rationale In response to the pressing need to address the learning losses caused
by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Education (DepEd)
recognizes the critical role of teachers in facilitating learning recovery
and enhancing learners' academic performance. As stipulated in DepEd
Order 14, s. 2023, the Policy Guidelines on the Implementation of
National Learning Camp (NIC) emphasize the importance of supporting
learners to overcome the challenges brought about by the pandemic.

The 2-Day Capacity Building of Grades 2 and 3 Teachers National

Learning Camp, as previously implemented, has shed light on the
significance of providing continuous support and professional
development opportunities to educators. To build on this momentum
and further improve teaching strategies, DepEd acknowledges the
necessity of conducting a 2-Day National Learning Camp Debriefing and
Qualitative Data Gathering specifically for SDO San Juan Grade 2 and
3 English and Math Teachers.

This upcoming event will be instrumental in equipping educators with

additional tools and insights gained from the previous learning camp's
outcomes. By delving into the qualitative data gathered from the
previous camp and through open discussions during the debriefing
sessions, teachers will have the chance to reflect on their teaching
approaches and make necessary adjustments based on the specific
needs and challenges faced by their students.

The qualitative data gathered during the debriefing will provide valuable
information on the effectiveness of the strategies employed in the
previous camp, enabling educators to identify successful practices and
areas for improvement. By incorporating teacher feedback, the
Department of Education - National Capital Region can tailor future
capacity-building initiatives more effectively, ensuring that they directly
address the unique requirements of the San Juan educational
community.

Furthermore, this qualitative data gathering will also facilitate the

identification of best practices among teachers, fostering a collaborative
learning environment where educators can share innovative teaching
methods and support one another in their professional growth. The
knowledge exchange during this 2-day event will undoubtedly
contribute to the overall enhancement of teaching quality and
ultimately lead to improved student achievement.

DepEd remains steadfast in its commitment to supporting teachers as

they play an indispensable role in students' educational journey. As
echoed in DepEd Order 42, s. 2017, the department recognizes that the
quality of learning is inextricably linked to the quality of teaching.
Through the 2-Day National Learning Camp Debriefing and Qualitative
Data Gathering, SDO San Juan Grade 2 and 3 Teachers will receive the
necessary backing and resources to continue their remarkable efforts in
nurturing young minds and fostering a conducive learning
environment.
II Objectives The objectives of the project are as follows:

 Comprehensively assess and analyze the outcomes of the previous

2-Day Capacity Building of Grades 2 and 3 Teachers National
Learning Camp.
 Foster a collaborative learning environment among SDO San Juan
Grade 2 and 3 Teachers during the debriefing sessions.
 Develop customized teaching strategies tailored to the specific
needs of SDO San Juan Grade 2 and 3 students.
 Strengthen future NLC implementation in SDO San Juan based
on Data Driven findings
