THE RELATIONSHIP OF CREATIVE THINKING SKILLS WITH


LEARNING OUTCOMES OF BIOLOGY OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
THE COUNTRY IN THE CITY OF MATARAM

ABSTRACT

Creative thinking skills are important to train students in schools, so that


students are able to find ways, strategies, ideas, or new ideas forget a solution to a
problem. This research aims to determine the relationship between creative
thinking skills and biology learning outcomes. State High School students in the
city of Mataram. This research method is a method correlational, with a
quantitative descriptive approach. Population in research. These are students of
class XI MIPA public high school in the city of Mataram in lesson 2022/2023.
Sampling in this study using multistage sampling technique, so that the research
sample is part of overall population of 231 students. Collection method the data
used is the test method. The correlation test used in this research is Spearman
Rank correlation test. The research results show that there is a positive and
significant relationship between thinking skills creative with the learning
outcomes of biology students of public high schools in the city of Mataram. The
value of the correlation coefficient analysis is 0.316, which means that the level
relationship at a low level of correlation.
