You were requested to develop and facilitate a problem-solving and decision-making learning
intervention for middle managers in your organisation. The purpose of this learning
intervention is to help managers learn new ways to approach problem-solving and making
decisions. This intervention must help middle managers develop practical ways to solve
demanding problems; reach win-win decisions; and expand the range of solutions available to
them by tapping into the knowledge of others. At the end of this learning intervention, the

attendees must be able to identify problems and to make responsible decisions in the
workplace.
