Performing My Teaching-Learning Activities

Performance Task 1

A parent-teacher conference is a meeting between a students’ parents and teacher or

teachers to discuss the child’s academic performance and other areas for improvement. This
conference is held every quarter or may be done as needed. Parents may also request for the
conference especially if there are matters to discuss to improve their children’s performance in
school.

Confer with your CT and write down the things that you need to prepare and the things to
do.

after the conference and providing assistance
to the parents in the conference room and

inquiries.

the chalk and asking one of the students to
erase the writing on the board.

I learned that, as educators, we must know a lot of things and be knowledgeable on

different platforms. Through watching webinars, we are able to know and hear their
thoughts and ideas on different topics and situations. It helps us to think globally and
to be informed about the issues happening in our country. It is important that we
involve ourselves in understanding the situations in our surroundings. It also opens
our mind that mental health is important same with the physical heath. Through these
webinars, we have realized a lot of things.

Writing My Reflection

I need to write my individual personal and professional development plan because it can
help me recognize the things and skills that I need to improve. It may also help me to distinguish
the roles that suit me and the responsibilities that I can handle. A systematic process called a
personal development plan can help us improve our weaknesses and turn them into strengths. We
will be able to gain new skills through this plan, which will also help us advance our technical
expertise and practical skills. The IDP can be used as a tool to help us develop and get better. It's
a technique for giving and receiving helpful criticism.
