Topic

How can I create a basic, durable and economical roof that will serve the
Research purpose of protecting animals and Items in cold and wet conditions?
Question

My focus is on roofing for wet and cold climates like the south of chile. I am
trying to find the most durable, economical and architectural design. I will
choose 3 to 4 materials that can fit durable and economical and test with
different designs. I will set them to different tests that will simulate these
conditions and see how they react to things like its draining system.

Asphalt is the best overall, slate roofing is the most durable, metal roofing is
most versatile, wood roofing is most environment friendly, clay is most curb
appeal and TPO roofing best for flat roofing

Most home owners in the US choose asphalt roofing. There are lower and
higher quality asphalt materials. Metal roofing has been around since the
1800s. Very durable and easy to transport. Wood roofs are not good for fire

Bibliography roofing. Slate is very resistant to extreme temperatures. Green roofs are
good for extreme heat. Solar roofs are very expensive. Rolled roofing are
most affordable.
