Absract
In this research, the bridge that will be discussed is entitled "Study of Comparative Cost of Suspension Bridge and
Arch Bridge". The part that will be reviewed is the upper structure of the bridge with a span of 150 m.The bridge
girders used in the Arch Bridge and Suspension Bridge both use WF profile main beam 1000.400.19.36 and WF
profile joist 400.200.12.22.
The Arch Bridge construction uses the main arc of a circular 47 "Hollow profile, the vertical curved frame uses the
WF 250.250.9.14 profile, while the diagonal curved frame and wind bond rods use the WF 200.200.8.12 profile.
Sttifening truss on the Suspension Bridge uses a steel
The ratio of deflection between Arch Bridge and Suspension frame with a WF profile 350.350.12.19.
The use of cables in the planning of these two bridges uses 12.7 mm VSL wire rope cables. For Arch Bridge only
uses 7 strand cables while for Suspension Bridge uses 12 strand cables for hanging cables and 43 strand cables for
main cables.
Bridge is 10.62 cm and 16.6 cm. Comparison of material requirements on Arch Bridge and Suspension Bridge has
increased by Rp. 5,551,062,825.19, equivalent to 19.91%.
