Dear Sir/Madam:
Philippine Beach Games is an annual summer sporting event held in the country’s most
pristine beaches. Professional and amateur athletes from all over the world will compete in
some of the fastest growing beach sports to raise awareness and excitement to alternative
sports where Filipinos are more competitive.
There will be 13 sport games in that said event including floorball for the first time in the
Philippines to play on the beach.
The Philippine Floorball Association (PFA) hereby invites each PFA Member Club to a
summer Beach 3v3 Floorball this coming April 21-23, 2023, to be held at Capitol Beach
Front Lingayen Pangasinan.
For this event, we can only accept first 6 teams who will confirm on or before April 8, 2023.
The following are t important registration details:
1. Tournament Details

3. Venue/Location
3.1 The competition venue will be held at Capitol Beach Front Lingayen Pangasinan.
3.2 There will be authorized vehicles from the Lingayen Terminal going to the venue.

4. Accommodation
4.1 There will be available hotels and dormitories at a cheaper price but in a first come
first serve policy.
4.2 Please see attached file of the lists of accommodation near the venue.
5. Mechanics: The teams will meet in a single-round robin series. This is subject to change
depending on the confirmed number of participating teams. A game will be played in 10
minutes straight. Each win is equivalent to 3 points and each draw is 1 point. The top 4
teams from each category with most points will advance to the Play-offs in a single
elimination format.
6. REGISTRATION
Participants must submit the following:
1. Registration fee: Php 2,000 per team of not more than 8 players.
2. Completed Team roster sheet.
3. Signed Approval to participate and Waiver and release of liability form.

3V3 BEACH FLOORBALL

TOURNAMENT RULES and REGULATIONS
The International Floorball Federation (IFF) Rules shall be followed in the tournament except
on the following provisions:
1. ELIGIBILITY
1.1 Participation is open to all Floorball teams.
1.2 A player may compete for only one team.
1.3 Seniors OPEN (all men/all women/mix)
1.4 Players must be 15 Years old and above.
2. UNIFORMS
2.1 Players will be in their sports attire, preferably in their team jersey.
(shirt, short, etc.) during their games.
2.2 No uniforms will be issued by the Organizing Committee.
2.3 Jersey numbers are required.
2.4 Eye wear is required for safety.
3. DEFAULTS, FORFEITURE, AND SUSPENSION

3.1 A team will lose by DEFAULT if:
3.1.1 A team is not in the playing area within three (5) minutes of their call time.
3.1.2 A team refuses to play their scheduled games.
3.2 A team will lose by FORFEITURE if:
3.2.1 A team is unable to field three (3) ready-to-play players,
within five (5) minutes of their scheduled game.
3.2.2 A team who walks out of their game will lose in favor of the other team.
3.3 A player who is thrown out by the referee will be suspended for one (1) game, (for
the next scheduled game of his team). A repetition of the same offense will ban him
from further participation in the Tournament.
4. PARTICIPANTS AND GAME TIME

4.1 The game is played 3 vs 3 without a goal keeper for each team.
4.2 The game time is 10 minutes straight in the round robin and the play-offs.
5. SYSTEM:
Elimination: Teams will meet in a single-round robin series
Semi-Finals: Rank 1 vs Rank 4, and Rank 2 vs Rank 3
Battle for 3rd: Loser of the Semi-Finals
Finals: Winners of the Semi-Finals

6. RESOLUTION OF TIES
6.1 The following points shall be considered to decide the ranking of teams:
Match Won- 3 Points

Match Lost- 0 Point
Draw- 1 Point
6.2 In case of ties, point system will be applied.
Tie breakers to determine who advances to the knockout round:

• Goal Difference in all group matches
• Greater number of goals scored in all group matches.
• Win over the other
• If none of the above works, Penalty shootout of (3) three players from
both teams.
6.3 In round robin play, in the event of a tie after regulation time, the game will be tallied.
as a draw.
6.4 In the playoffs, in the event of a tie, a five (5) minute sudden victory (first goal wins)
overtime period shall be played. If still tied after the overtime play, there will be a
Penalty shootout of (3) three players from both teams.
7. ENTRIES
7.1 All entries must be submitted on or before April 8, 2023. The registration fee for a
team of three to eight (3-8) is Php 2,000.
7.2 Any corrections or changes after the set deadline must be accompanied with a
written justification for such change, signed by the Coach/Manager, for approval.
7.3 The entries must be signed by the Coach or Manager of the respective teams.
7.4 A team can submit a minimum of 3 players to a maximum of 8 players.
8. CASES NOT COVERED BY THE RULES Matters not provided by this set of guidelines
shall be decided by the Organizing Committee.
