ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT FOR ACTIVITY “BRIGADA

ESKWELA” FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024

I. OVERVIEW
Bayanihan refers to the spirit of community unity to achieve a
particular and collective goal. This was one of the bases for the
Department of Education in launching the Brigade School Program in
the belief that the education of the Filipino Youth is everybody’s
concern. As the Government provide free and quality education, the
school community is perceived to be an important stakeholder in our
learners’ education. The strong partnership and collaboration of these
stakeholders are vital in ensuring that Filipino learners go to school,
remain in school, and learn in school.
Brigada Eskwela, also known as the Bayanihan Para Sa
Paaralan, is a nationwide voluntary effort of teachers, parents,
students, community members, and other organizations to do minor
repairs and clean-ups on their schools in preparation for the start of
the school year.

To accomplish this activity SSLG Officers will help and share
their time and energy for the school's cleanup and organizing
campaign in preparation for the upcoming opening of the school year
and be part of a nationwide effort towards improving Philippine basic
education
II. OBJECTIVES
1. Spread the spirit of Bayanihan among stakeholders.
2. To maintain the cleanliness of our school.
3. To build camaraderie among students.

III. IMPLEMENTATION STEPS

The first step that we do is the preparation and making the
project proposal for the activity “Brigada Eskwela”.

During the activity, SSLG officers helped clean up the school by

removing cobwebs in the wall, pulling tall and long grasses, sweeping
up litter and picking up trash inside the school.

IV. RESULTS AND OUTCOME (INCLUDE RESOURCES

SSLG officers successfully organized a Brigada Eskwela initiative.

The activity encompassed a comprehensive clean-up and maintenance
campaign in preparation for the upcoming academic year. It was a
collaborative effort, involving the students, parents, teachers and also
the SSLG officers, who diligently helped in cleaning the school. This
endeavour not only enhanced the physical environment of the school
but also fostered a sense of unity and pride among the school
community. The meticulous preparations undertaken during this
Brigada Eskwela will undoubtedly contribute to a conducive and
inspiring learning atmosphere for all students.

V. CONCLUSIONS

The activities planned and implemented by the SSLG officer, to

help keep the school clean for the upcoming school year.
VI. RECOMMENDATION
It is highly recommended to continue this type of activity
because it shows several commendable virtues like cooperation and
teamwork, diligence and dedication, selflessness, responsiveness and
a sense of responsibility.

VII. LESSONS LEARNED

After the Brigada Eskwela, one of the lessons that we can get
from this activity is the significance of collective effort, because the
activity highlighted how much can be accomplished when people come
together with a common purpose. Overall, the Brigada Eskwela taught
us about the power of working hand in hand for the betterment of our
shared spaces and learning environment,
