Sub: Itemised RollingStock Programme for 2024-25

As per trends of recent years, it is anticipated that letter from Raivway Board for
submission of ltemised RSP proposals for FY 2024-25 will be issued in September
2023.

As a measure to save time, it is requested to provide the description, aliocation,

proposed cost, qty. and justification of items pertaining to Coaching. Freight, MEMU.
DEMU&VWorkshop to be proposed under Itemised RSP 2024-25 so that the same may
be processed for approval of PCME before further processing at HQ level.
While submitting the list of proposals, quantities sanctioned under previous years
Itemised Rolling Stock Programmes, Bulk RSP, Umbrella RSP etc. should be taken into
account and quantity proposed should be as per norms of UES or consumption pattern
Supported with documentary evidence.
It may be noted that items required on additional account should invariably be
proposed in CAP and not on Development Funds as Railway Board is not allotting
sufficient funds in this allocation.
