The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) announces the conduct of

Press Conference on the August 2023 Inflation Report, which will be held on
05 September 2023 (Tuesday) at 9:00AM. Media personnel can attend either onsite
at the Media Room, 12th Floor, Eton Centris Cyberpod 5, Loop A, Diliman,
Quezon City, National Capital Region, or through video conferencing using Zoom.

PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and

Civil Registrar General, will be the resource person for the event.

Highlights of the press conference will be tweeted live throughout the duration of the
press conference through the PSA official Twitter account @PSAgovph using the
hashtag #PHCPI and will be livestreamed on the PSA official Facebook page.

A briefing on the concepts of consumer price index and inflation rates will also be
held after the conduct of the press conference on the August 2023 inflation report.
Media partners present on-site and those joining via Zoom are requested to stay and
engage in the said media briefing.
