Enclosed herewith is Memorandum Circular 2024-001, signed by Secretary Atty.
Benjamin C. Abalos, Jr. on January 3, 2024, relative to the upcoming launch of the
"KALINISAN (Kalinga at Inisyatiba para sa Malinis na Bayan) Program" by the
Department on January 6, 2024.

In light of this initiative, please cause the widest dissemination of the aforesaid
issuance. Further, kindly coordinate with the Local Chief Executives (LCEs) in your
respective AOR and enjoin them to initiate activities as stipulated in the memo.

The leadership of the newly elected and appointed Barangay and Sangguniang
Kabataan officials is crucial in spearheading the observance of their respective
"Kalinisan Day," which will be synchronized nationwide from 7:00 am to 11:00
am on January 6, 2024.

Further, all concerned are hereby directed to fill-out the link:

conduct of the activity and submit the Post Activity Reports and accompanying photos,
should be uploaded to the designated link: http://tinyurl.com/KALINISAN-DAY. Not
later than January 10, 2024.
