History of St. Michael's High School. A pleasant afternoon to each and everyone .

I
welcome you all to this festive event, our most anticipated 2022–2023 senior high
school promenade. St. Michael's High School has been celebrating proms for
students for their last two years in high school, and it was something worth the
experience. Our school has been standing and building students for 77 years, and
it has experienced ups and downs. Through those challenges, our school has
prevailed and overcome the trials, and since then, we have come to know the
school that we know today. I have been at St. Michael's High School for 14 years.
Yes, you heard that right—14 years, starting from kinder 1 to grade 12. St.
Michael's High School is my second home where I learned how to properly write,
read, speak languages, pronounce words correctly, do math, and many other
things. Like me, we have experienced a lot in our school. Meeting and knowing
new friends, and losing some along the way. Having to deal with fights and
struggles to reach expectations and passing our limits. We have also seen a lot.
From the hellos of the first day to the goodbyes of every end of the school year
and we've watched students and teachers come and go. We have also seen how
the school changed, from the old CR for junior high school students to the senior
high building that we currently have, how our basketball court and stage changed,
how the canteen changed, and many others. Our school has given us memories
worth remembering, lessons we'll be taking on our next journey that prepared us
to soar high. Our school has been a part of me for more than half of my life and
will always be. As I am thankful, grateful, and blessed to be part of the Michaelian
family, I hope everyone here feels the same, as we are one Michaelians. All of us
have amazing memories at our school. Through the years, months, and days of
being students at St. Michael's High School, we have cherished moments with
love and learned a lot of wonderful and unforgettable lessons along the way that
have molded us into who we are today. To end this speech, I would like to say
that wherever we will be in the future, I hope we will never forget the history and
memories that we share. Let's also not forget one of the sayings of our school,
"Once a Michaelian, always a Michaelian." And today, I now officially proud to say
that to all of us who are here are already part of the history of St. Michael's High
School. Thank you all for listening and let us enjoy this year's promenade.
