Recommendations to reduce the risks and dangers:

1. As much as possible, live in areas where there are 0 chances of flooding and landslides,
and as we can see it is at the colorless zones at the map.
2. Do not plan to stay and build infrastructures around zones such as orange and green as
they are the areas where landslides mostly happens.
3. It’s better to live near the main road, because it is where residency is found commonly.
4. If possible, avoid living close to rivers, as shown on the map what mostly purple zone
covers is what the river can reach especially during a storm. It can possibly wash you out.
5. If you have a house, building or any kind of infrastructure near the zones where the
effects of landslides and flooding is critical, whether you stay temporarily or
permanently, it is advisable to evacuate immediately as soon as possible, to avoid any
injuries or even death.
6. If you somehow plan to go near or at areas such as brown, orange, & green (landslide
prone areas) and blue, indigo, and purple, please prepare an emergency plan, emergency
kit and some tools that’ll be helpful for you in crucial situations such as cellphones to
contact rescuers immediately.
7. If you are driving and approaching the danger zones, be cautious and alert to avoid
unfortunate accidents. Always watch the road signs near these areas.
8. Always listen to what the authorities will say about landslide and flooded prone areas to
get your updates & tips about the areas.
