We use the present simple:

+ AFFIRMATIVE FORM:
Subject + verb + complement.

We add “s” to the verb:
he wants
she needs
he gives
she thinks
he plays

We change “y” by “ies”: (consonant + y)


fly --> flies
cry --> cries
The plane flies very high.
The baby cries a lot.

We add “es” when the verb finish in: ss, x, sh, ch,
z, o:
he passes 
she catches 
he fixes 
it pushes
The verb “have” changes to “has”
He has a dog.
