PART 1: ESSAY

This issue was recently debated in a TV programme I have watched. I will put forward the two
main ideas that were discussed, outlining the benefits from them.

First of all, regarding sports and recreation charities, it can be argued that it plays a significant role
in our society. According to experts, playing sports or doing activities not only help people to get in
good shape, but also it reduces levels of stress and boosts people to be more creative at their job,
for instance. Moreover, scientists who have indulged in the effects of physical activity, discover
that, apart from the benefits for your body, it is a way to release emotions.

On the other hand, it goes without saying that the most important is health charities. Since
thousands of years ago, scientist have discovered a whole load of cures for many diseases. And
this development of health care has allowed the humanity not only to overcome many things, but
also to live with tranquillity. However, as in many countries, the hospitals are private. Therefore,
people who cannot afford to pay this service end up having sickness. So it is vital for them to
attend these charities in order to get well.

Having stated these arguments above, it can be concluded that health charities should receive
funding from the government. Many people are out of the system and going to these non-profit
organisations will help them with at least the basic things.

PART 2: REVIEW

Chinatown: Unforgettable experience.

The Chinatown restaurant was recently opened and is run by a traditional family from China who
came ten years ago. They do not only serve Chinese food, but they also prepare many dishes from
around the world.

First of all, I order a typical dish from China which you may know very well. I am talking about
sushi. It was really interesting because I have never eaten this kind of food. But what I really liked
the most was the décor. There were candles inside of a red circle all around the place, there were
paintings about the ancient culture of China and I reckon that it really enhanced more the dining
experience. Although this may sound silly but the table had an attractive setting and the plates had
little drawings. What´s more, the smells of the environment weren´t of food, but there was a
powerful fragrance all the time.

Regarding the staff, I was really disappointed with the them. Firstly, the waiters took a long time to
attend me and they brought me something that I didn´t order. Then when I went to pay the bill,
the cashier didn´t want to give me the change and I ended up leaving without it. I believe they
were quite amateurish for this job, as they were all youngsters except for the chefs and the head
chef.

Overall, I would recommend you to visit this place but be aware of how they treat you. They have
reasonable prices but you should book in advance because it is always full of people.
