What is Computer Graphics?

Computer applications that are used to design graphics and create new graphics, then such software is
called graphics software or graphics applications.

Many types of graphics, such as - image graphics, video graphics, and motion graphics appear on
the screen of your computer or mobile, which attracts people a lot.

Graphics means - images that are in the form of graphics such as - posters & brand logos. Such images
are always different from the normal image to which people are very attracted.

What are the Types of Graphics?

There are different types of graphics, which names are given below and these graphics are uses in
different fields.

 Video Graphics - Video Graphics Means, graphics are in the form of video which is totally
different from normal video and looks very attractive to watch.
 Image Graphics - Image graphics means, an image that is of high quality, which is totally
different from the normal image. As soon as you see that image, you will know that it is a
graphics image.
 Motion graphics means - Motion graphics, graphics that look like an image but they move the
image like - blinking text of the image, you can also call these images GIF images.
In today's era, everyone is liking graphics more because through graphics you understand something
quickly.

they have read for a long time.

By teaching the child with graphics, children read by understanding cartoons, and their interest in studies
increases.

With the use of computer graphics, we can create a graphical design of any machine and its parts.

In simple words, you make the structure of that machine using sketch graphics so that when building that
structure physically, then the engineers who make that structure do not have any problem.

Computer graphics are also used in the field of photography so that different types of pictures can be
improved or their shortcomings can be overcome, which is called image processing.

You can also edit the image using graphics software.

Edit Means - You can modify any image according to your need, such as - you can increase or decrease
the brightness of the image and you can do many other changes.
9. Graphics User Interface
Using computer graphics, we can design the user interface of any software, such as - Web applications,
Websites & Mobile apps.

Whatever website or web application you see or when you visit any website & web application and the
interface you see is all made by graphics.

10. Printing Technology

Computer graphics are used in printing technology by which you wear a printed T-shirt & jeans.

Graphics are now being used extensively in the textile industry as well. Today all types of printed clothes
are being sold in the market. Eg - printed shirt, printed t-shirt, printed saree

Printed Means - You may have seen that a hero or heroine or stylish text is printed on a t-shirt or if you
want, you can also print the things of your choice on your clothes.

11. Computer Aided Design ( CAD )

Computer graphics are mainly used in the design process, these applications are especially used in the
engineering field. For example - Making buildings and other structural designs, designing automobiles
and aircraft, etc.

Through computer-aided design software, you can design the surface diagram in 2D & 3D form.

CAD ( Computer-aided design ) & CADD ( Computer-aided drafting and design ) are mainly used for
designing automobiles, aircraft, spacecraft, computers & home appliances.

12. Computer Aided Learning

Computer systems for physical financial and economic systems are always used as educational
assistance. 
Today, a computer graphics tool is used to create large-scale Teaching Seminars and Conference
Presentations. Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides are being used more today for creating
presentations.
