My name is Martin John Badham and I am the current employer of the abovenamed applicant for a
tourist visa in Australia. Gladys has been under our employ for 2 years and 3 months so far and has
been a trusted part of our household.

I am aware of her relationship with Mr Malcolm Rowarth and that they have since gotten married on
18th September 2022. They have been in a long-term relationship prior to their wedding and
Malcolm would normally visit her in Hongkong but covid put a stop their usual annual rendezvous.
Unfortunately, due to work commitments they really did not have a chance to go on a honeymoon
hence her husband is treating her to a holiday in Melbourne as a honeymoon gift and to meet
Malcolm’s daughter and other family members.

Gladys will be on leave from work for a month and she is expected to resume her duties in our
household. The timing is suitable for us as we also intend to have a break. Her leave will commence
upon approval of her tourist visa application, and we will then calculate her expected return once we
are advised of such date, should she be granted approval.

As her employer I fully support her tourist visa application and confident that she will return to fulfill
her duties as she and Malcolm have plans to become more financially stable and for Gladys to have
the means to support her children in the Philippines.

Kindly grant her the approval to visit her husband and meet his family and allow him to show her
where he lives so she will be more secured when she comes back to work having the familiarity of
his surroundings and obviously primarily for them to go on a honeymoon.

I strongly and respectfully urge you to approve her tourist visa application.
