Purpose of Visit

The purpose of writing this request letter is to show my genuine intent to visit Canada in order to
attend the marriage ceremony of my daughter, Prabaljot Kaur in order to shower my blessings on
her as well as to nurture and relish our family ties and to explore the beautiful province of Ontario.
I am VARINDERJOT SINGH (DOB: 18-04-1972 and PASSPRORT NO: M9189908) is residing in Dadhula
Amritsar for last 50 years and I got married to MANJEET KAUR (DOB: 07-07-1966 and PASSPORT
NO: M7985875) on 19th January, 1994. We are blessed with two children, a son and a daughter. My
elder son HARMANJOT SINGH (DOB: 26-11-1994 and PASSPORT NO: M8582488) is a sole proprietor
in Amritsar. Further, Prabaljot Kaur, is my only younger beloved daughter and currently is a
permanent resident of this nation. As today, the children are independent to take their own life
decisions, she completed her education in 2017 in Canada and now, she decided to get married in
this nation itself. A solemnised marriage license has been issued by the Government of Canada on 7 th
June 2022, which is valid till 7 th September, 2022.She had a desire for her father and elder brother to
be the part of her wedding as we have not met each other since……years and it is very significant for
us to emotionally stand by her side on her precious day. Thus, she sent us an invitation letter to
attend the wedding in order to make the necessary arrangements for the most important day of her
life as well as to have a great family reunion. Further, my wife Manjeet Kaur already has a Canadian
visitor visa which is valid till…….and she has visited her in 2019 before the Pandemic COVID 19 but
unfortunately, I was unable to make a visa application to meet her due to some unavoidable
circumstances in the family. Now, we wish to visit our her in Canada with a sole motive to shower
our blessings on the married couple and would love to see their bond with each other long-lasting
and prosperous.
Prabaljot, is currently residing in Apt 802-100 John Street, Brampton, Ontario L6W0A8. She made a
student visa application to Canada in ……. After the completion of her studies, she was issued a work
permit on ……….. She is presently working in Iversta Rentals Inc. Mississauga, Ontario as an Assistant
Manager since 04th April,2022. Her employment letter, PR Card, driving license and work permit
letter, pay slips are attached for verification.
Apart from this, regarding our financial establishment in India is concerned, I am a contractual
employee in Water Supply & Sanitation Department and I am working in the office of Superintending
Engineer, W/S & Sanitation circle, Amritsar. My son, Mr. Harmanjot Singh, is a businessman and runs
a business of music video and film making production named as TROOP94 in Amritsar. As per the
Income Tax Returns, I am having total annual income of INR …….. (CAD ) and my son is having total
annual income of INR (CAD ). In addition to this, I have immovable assets worth INR (CAD= ). Besides
this, we have total personal savings of INR (CAD=) in Nation Savings Certificate account as well as a
total savings of INR (CAD=) in Public Provident Fund account to manage our visit to Canada. Apart
from this, we have a cash in hand of INR (CAD=) to manage our expenses in case of need. Our
collective earnings from the salary and business are stable and we have sufficient funds to afford our
visit to Canada. The income tax returns, bank statements, CA reports are attached for the
verification.
As far as my family establishment is concerned, I have my entire relatives residing in India and we
share close family bond with them. Further, I am the head of the family and have the responsibility
to take care of my family. So, I have to resume back to my services after the marriage of my
daughter. Moreover, my son also has the responsibility of running his business successfully. Hence,
we have firm family and business ties in India which ensure our return to our country as we are
highly associated with the roots of our country. Thus, we want to assure you that we are highly
stable financially and our only motto is to attend her wedding and meet our daughter and son-in-law
to shower our lovable blessings on them and explore Canada as a tourist.
Regarding our Immigration track, we have never made a tourist visa application to any other nation.
Hence, our application has never been rejected nor denied by any nation.
Considering our personal details, purpose of visit, financial capability, finds availability, immigration
history and family ties, we request you to give us an opportunity to visit Canada as a tourist to
