ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

A PROJECT WATCH ORIENTATION

April 29, 2022

I - Introduction
Holistic education is concerned with developing individuals who are well-
balanced in their outlook in life and personal understanding of themselves in relation to the world.
It presupposes that a person may find meaning and purpose not only through mainstream
education, but also in making connections to the community, to the natural world, and to
humanitarian values.
D.Q. Liwag National High School adheres to this premise; hence, envisions to mold
learners to become responsible citizen and enlightened leaders equipped with life skills and
imbued with desirable values towards the building of humane and productive society.
Driven by this overarching principle, D. Q. Liwag National High School placed paramount
regard on both the acquisition of knowledge and values learning as the core of formal education. T he

has resulted to a new social media culture that is silently taking the world by storm. The
current environment of political, social, and religious decay has led to a renewed interest in
intensifying the teaching of moral values to the younger generation. While it’s true that equipping
the students the 21stcentury skills like creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and the like is
imperative in ensuring their success in this new and globally competitive world, the enduring
benefits of having a pleasing character and virtues cannot be undermined. For this reason, D. Q.
Liwag National High School strongly supports the Project W.A.T.C.H. advocacy program
on time consciousness and honesty. Though faced with the challenge of fashioning effective
means to ensure that the significance of these virtues is deeply internalized within the students, D.
Q. Liwag National High School will continuously commit itself to the vision of a peaceful and
more humane society through positive change.
