PROJECT PROPOSAL
4. Objective
To honor and show our gratefulness to our Filipino warriors during the past battles to free our nation
specifically:
1. To acknowledge and be inspired by the sacrifices of our heroes.
2. To increase awareness and historical places in the Philippines during the World War II
3. To remember the reasons why Filipinos experience freedom up to this day.
4. To instill to all the student of our school every good characteristic of our warriors had.
5. Description/Component/Activities
Pursuant to the DepEd Order No. 49, s. 2011 entitled Mandated Programs, Projects and Activities of
The Supreme Student Government (#10 Encourage and support the participation of students in recognized
co-curricular clubs/organizations and activities.), and to honor our heroes, the D.Q. Liwag National High
School Supreme Student Government SSG will conduct a Virtual Celebration for our heroes. Due to our
current situation, we will hold a virtual activity and this event will be the first ever celebration of the 80 th
Araw ng Kagitingnan and Philippines Veterans Week in our school with the theme “Kagitingan ng mga
Beterano, Inspirasyon ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino”.
Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, the first ever celebration of the 80 th Araw ng
Kagitingan and Philippines Veterans Week will be held online. The Supreme Student Government
will prepare a program and activities. They will present the program through their Facebook Page
- D.Q. Liwag National High School Supreme Student Government . Activities, which are contests, will
be held days prior to the Program proper. The participants to this event are the students of the said
school.
Contests such as poetry writing, coffee painting, and charcoal/graphite painting contest will
be conducted. The criteria for judging will be released a week before the said contest. Certificates
and prizes will be awarded by room where the winner attended the face to face classes.
In this activity, the officers of the Supreme Student Government as well as the Adviser will
provide the expenses as to show their support to the 80th Araw ng Kagitingan and Philippines
Veterans Week.
9. Expected Output
An increased of awareness of the conduct of the 80th Araw ng Kagitingan and Philippines Veterans
Week.
Recognized the historical places in the Philippines during the World War II.
Developed a sense of awareness and historical places in the Philippines during the World War II
Enhanced students’ appreciation the reasons why Filipinos experience freedom up to this day.
